Revis meet Mankins

Unhappy himself over a promise for a new contract, New England Patriots Guard Logan Mankins will not sign his $3.26 million tender offer because “I don’t need to be here anymore” and ”There is no way that I’m signing that thing.”  Mankins believes the Patriots promised him a new deal and no longer believes they intend to follow through on the promise. “Growing up, I was taught a man’s word is his bond,” Mankins told Reiss. “Obviously, this isn’t the case with the Patriots.”

On the Jets side, forgotten CB Dwight Lowery had a great practice and subbed in for the “injured” Darrelle Revis, making a nice INT.

WR Braylon Edwards had a couple of nice plays including a jumping TD catch against Revis.

In other news, Broncos LB Elvis Dumervil signed a one year tender at $3.16 million.
