Although I wanted to kick Hartsock at times for his stupid penalties, he was an excellent blocker that helped make the “Ground and Pound” philosophy successful. Therefore the Jets resigned him.
I will say what was stupid about this was the fact that New York was willing to give Hartsock here $3.2 million for two years but were not willing to give Thomas Jones $5 million. But that is a whole other story.
