Beware of the Jaguars
Looking at the AFC Standings (wins by Cincy and San Diego), there is no doubt that Sundays game against the 4-4 Jacksonville Jaguars is a big game. Big big game. (have I said Big enough?) .
With a 24-21 Win against the Chiefs, in a blacked-out game, the Jaguars come to New York with QB David Garrard, RB Maurice Jones-Drew and WR Mike Sims-Walker who all clicked on Sunday against the Chiefs and look to improve on their 1-3 road record this year.
For the numbers guys, the Jags 8 games this year are: Loss, Loss, Win, Win, Loss, Win, Loss, Win. Included in that was an embarrasing 30-13 loss to Tennessee 2 weeks ago and a 41-0 drubbing from Seattle 4 weeks ago.
While the Jags have been off and on this year, the Jets need to step it up big time Sunday. Jones-Drew has 737 yards with 11 TDs this season and will look to carry the ball over 25 times. The Jaguars defense, on the 0ther hand, has only 8 sacks this year with 5 INTs and has recently switched back to the 4-3 from the 3-4. The Jets should look to the running game and control the clock.

Scary to think the Jags actually could be a powerhouse if they get everything clicking. One of the keys to this game for the Jets has got to be offensive time of possession. Long sustained drives to keep MJD off the field. Granted this is a key most games, but especially this one.
