The point is Mangini allowed Favre to throw the ball 40 times a game instead of sitting him on the bench or telling him he's throwing 20 times max. Everyone knows Favre doesn't play smart football so they need someone who won't allow him or anyone else to throw too much. The running game is what wins in this league... I'm surprised this is such a weird thing to accept in this league. Both Mannings, Brady, Big Ben...etc... have all won championships with their running game and defense.
