Looks like the Jets learned their lesson as they are now in contract talks with Chris Baker... and thank god. It's really not the production from Baker that we should be worried about, but it's a commitment from the organization to honor whatever they told him. Baker is arguably the best Tight End in the division (Ben Watson? maybe?) and is coming off a solid season. He's been in the offense and can not only catch the ball but can block as well. Bubba Franks is on his last leg, and Dustin Keller (while I love the pick), isn't a NFL Tight End yet. He does look like a monster slot WR though and I can't wait to see how they use him. Looks a lot to me like a Chris Cooley-Vernon Davis kind of Tweener... Anyway, I'm glad you brought up the Kendall situation from last year because I firmly believe that tanked the season. Kendall helped Mangold with the blocking calls and losing that in between two youngin's over $1 mil is just unacceptable. Luckily it's a new year and it looks like Baker's agent (who also was Kendall's agent) and the Jets Brass are making nice... thank goodness...

If Woody Johnson expects us to pay a PSL for each ticket for the new stadium, he better pay these dudes to bring us a championship!!! Camp's here boys!!! Gotta love it!!!
